error 80029bc1 no SACD Playing

Hello,

I bought a PS3 cech04 a while ago on ebay that came with CFW 3.55 (OtherOS I believe) and SACD Ripper 0.37 installed already. I ripped just one SACD for testing and since have used it as a Player for CD, DVD and SACD and, after upgrading to REBUG 4.81, for BD. SACD Ripper didn't work anymore and I just recently reinstalled SACD Ripper 0.38 again.

Ripping works fine, but I get an error message 80029bc1 when trying to play the same SACD. What may be the cause of this? I googled only...

Rebug 4.82.2 caused a lot of problems

I don't know why but Rebug 4.82.2 messed up all my controllers and I can't play a single game in normal conditions (even legit ones). It looks like they are progressively worse and one of them even comes up with that menu with 8 options in multiMAN as soon as Ienter it like if I had pressed the square button on a downloaded game and it makes the game's characters move by themselves (just like the other controllers). The same thing happens in the XMB like if I was pressing the right key....

Error 8002F957 while copying FW to PS3

Hello,

I've followed this Reddit page in order to flash my PS3 but every time the firmware file gets copied to my PS3 I get error 8002F957 at 71%...

I've tried the latest 4 normal firmware releases (4.82.2, 4.82.1 and 4.81.2) and then I tried the lowest available versions but a lot of them were dead links (hosted on scmods.com) so the lowest one I could download was version 4.75.1 but the problem persists.

downloading zip files rebug on ps3

Hope I am posting this to the correct place.
I'm pretty new to modding consoles,so forgive my ignorance on the subject.
I have just loaded up my ps3 with rebug and retroarch,seeing as most roms come in zip/7z folders,i was wondering if there is any possible way to download said zip/7z folders straight to ps3 and unpack them there rather than having to download to pc and transfer them via mem stick?

System stuck in update loop updating to 4.82.2.

installed rebug 4.82.2 on my slim and now its stuck in an update loop. Its a backwards compatible ps3. I this its a core problem with the update but don't know how to fix it. Any suggestions?

Hello
I kindly ask the Rebug team to create a tool to customize the firmware spoof and more (sen enabler does not work and psnpatch does not spoof)
This problem occurs every time a new firmware comes out.
Can I change the CFW with PS3 mfw builder? Risk the hardbrick?
Alternatively, do you teach me how to modify the vsh to change the firmware spoof?

Hi everyone! I have a console CEX2xxx with OFW 3.55 and I installed CFW 4.82.2 Rebug REX. If I later need to upgrade my hard drive with larger capacity, how should I do it to get it back CFW 4.82.2? I just need to use a USB and a CFW 4.82.2 and update as usual, right? Do I need to use "PS3Xploit Tool v2.0"?

Rebug 4.84.1 lite "Not enough free space on the system storage"

I just installed rebug on my PS3 and both webman and MultiMan but I can't play Beyond 2 souls because it comes up and says I need more space on my system, even though I have plenty of it.

I've searched all of google and everything says I need to set FAKE HDD SPOOF under debug settings. But I have CEX not DEX and don't see any debug setting in the menu.

How can I change the limit or turn off the limit so the game can load?

Not enough storage when loading games from HDD

G'day everyone,

I have an issue ever since 4.82.2 when loading some games i get a storage error and the game quits.

I have 289gb free on my HDD, when i change fake size limit in debug settings, no matter what i change it to the games still does not load and i get the same error.

it's pretty annoying, anyone have a fix for this?

Playstationscenefiles is GONE!!

It looks like the hosting site for the REBUG Firmware files has disappeared. The link in the text file returns a 404 error mesage. Going to playstationscenefiles.com returns a message saying the site is closed. Anybody else having the same issue? Where can I get the 4.84.2 CFW file?
Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Hi. I just installed Rebug 4.84.2 REX. I also have WebMan Mod, Irisman, and Multiman installed on a PHAT CECHB01 system which has PS2 and PS1 Backwards Compatibility. I have ripped my discs to ISO format and I have moved them to their respective folders but whenever I try to launch an ISO from Webman or Irisman or Multiman, it takes me back to the XMB and when I click on the disc the system tries to load and launch it but then there's nothing but a black screen and then I'm back to the XMB...

Hello ,

maybe this has been asked in the past .... but i have a ps3 test console , running rebug 4.84 cobra .... tried the psn patch and always says psn locked .... can this test console with these patches go to psn ... or due to being a test console the acess is locked for good ??
