parental control restrictions (rebug 4.80 bug ??)

since upgrading to 4.80.1 DEX i have been getting this when online
Online Service is disabled on your sony entertainment network account due to parental control restrictions
is this possibily due to a bug in rebug firmware ??

Hello everyone,

after a hard disk failure I had to replace the ps3 drive with a new one. Now I have to restore the system completely, but I am unable to. Even the recovery mode is not working. I always get the error that a higher or equal firmware version is needed on the usb stick. I put the latest rebug firmware, which was aslo installed before, on the stick (PS3/UPDATE/->PS3UPDAT.PUP).

I appreciate any help, where no flash device is needed.

Fake save data owner problem

This is a good idea, but it's useless if it spam notifications every little time (some games saves every short period). We know that the feature is enabled: we enabled it.

Is there a way to completly remove there notifications ("caution: ..... ") without modify various file, please?

[BUG] Try to rename any file in flash and FW is corrupted

If you try to rename (using FTP in Rebug Toolbox) any file (like webftp_server.sprx) stored in flash, you will get an error message and the PS3 will hang. When you reboot, you will be asked to provide a flash drive with a copy of the firmware. It will try to update it and fail (the data is corrupted)

The only fix is going back to 3.55 and then reinstall current rebug. It's a really big bug.

After years of being on Cobra 3.55, I finally upgraded to Rebug 4.8 with the kind assistance of the PS3hax Discord channel. Most games work now, but I am having trouble getting SRWZ3 to work.

What happens is after I run the game with Webman manager (installed via Rebug Tools) all I get is a black screen and nothing else happens. I can exit the game via the PS button (which means my console is not frozen) but I can't actually play it. I have tested like...

Does REBUG install .rap files?

Hi all,

I apologise for what will probably be a very basic question - does REBUG install .rap files? I'm following instructions to do this (to play Rock Band customs) and don't know if I can use the REBUG package manager to accomplish this. I've read stuff suggesting to use PSNpatch or reactPSN but don't know if I actually need to.

I'm using REBUG 4.78 CFW. Thanks to anyone who can help me out.

Hey Guys,

I have been trying to get help with getting Rebug up and running but there has been problems with Rebug.

Long story short I had my PS3 running on rebug until a few months ago then did an idiot move and updated with OFW 4.81 by accident over top.

Needless to say I now bought an E3 Flasher and am downgrading my Slim PS3 to get Rebug on it again.

I followed the E3 Tutorials and installed the Rogero Downgrader using the Debug Software Update menu (Holding power till turns on and...

Completely remove game data/Dark Souls II corrupted textures

Hello,

I was wondering how to completely remove all of a game's files from the internal hard drive through multiman. I installed a copy of Dark Souls II: SotFS that had corrupted/missing textures, so I deleted the BLES02135 folder, but when I installed a different copy, I encountered the same issue, leading me to believe I missed something other than the BLES02135 folder.

Hi guys,

I've never had a PS3 but I'd like to get one and mainly check some of the games. I'd like to be able to load games from an internal or external HDD and try them locally.
I'm not quite a gamer, ie, I won't be playing online and I usually just play like 1 or 2 h per game to see the dynamics more than anything else, hence that I'd like to jailbreak it so that I can do this.

I have rebug 4.75.3 rex cobra 7.10 with multiman 4.76.00 , when update to multiman 4.81.2 , the games iso
not recognize ( iso invalid When i run) , but with multiman 4.76.00 all perfect (iso and iso split) , I use ps3 iso tools v2.2 for Converted games jb to iso

hello, i used rebug toolbox utility to toggle ps2 net emu to force enable ps2 software emulation for backward compatible ps3, my ps3 is the 60gb model backward compatible

the problem is how i return on the default mode?? when i push X it say always software emulation activated, but i can't deactivate!! please help
