Cold boot into Petitboot using Rebug?

Is it possible to cold boot into Petitboot using Rebug 4.81.2? Making Petitboot default instead of GameOS? Glevand had it apparently working in his CFW in 2012:

For us who primarily use PS3 Linux it would be awesome to not have to jump...
